HEAL YOUR LIFE
Emotional healing does not have to be complicated. It is simple although it does take some work.
Emotional healing can be daunting for several people. There are those who have undergone really traumatic experiences and it is not to be discounted. Others have suffered from long-standing emotional problems such as depression, chronic anger, perhaps, even just a sense of sadness or loneliness. What I’m about to show you are simple tips to start you on the road to healing. Mind you, these are not meant to replace professional help or support where necessary. These little tips, however, will help keep you afloat during those times when you feel a bit down and may even keep you from feeling overwhelmed.
We all know what it feels like to come up against so-called ‘negative emotions’. It’s very challenging to process them in a way that is healthy as most of us did not have the privilege of being taught how to handle them properly. All these tips are just little starters to get you started on your emotional healing journey. I find that regular application of these techniques during periods of ‘calm’ – when you are not being besieged by your emotional problems – create a support that will buffer you during times when you are emotionally overwhelmed and at your most vulnerable.
I have also outlined here some of the books that I have read which have provided me amazing guidance over the years. I will share with you some of the techniques that I have learned and I will also provide information or leads about therapies which you can check out further on their own respective websites.
I truly hope that many of these gems which I have found over the years will help you as well and become not only your tools but your companions as well towards living an emotionally healthier life. To get you started, just click on the articles page tab above or on this link.
With great respect and love for the wonderful being that you are,
Nadine
